The orange big spot with many dots on it and the arrows pointing is Japan and the dots are the earthquakes and the aftershocks. This picture clearly shows the Eurasian, North American and Pacific plates surrounding Japan and Japan being in the middle of it all, which causes earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions often in Japan.
